If you are seriously considering to embrace the plant-based life style, you should be aware of the important role the fruits and leafy greens play in this diet. Leafy greens can range from spinach, kale, chard, bok choy, etc. Not a big fan of having a spinach salad every day - not a problem! One of the best ways to consume the powerful superfoods is making smoothies and smoothie bowls.
I want to share this recipe that I recently created and I promise you - it will change your life! Besides being packed with the most valuable nutrients, vitamins and fiber, it`s beyond delicious.
Ingredients
For two people:
1/2 cup of almond (or any non-dairy) milk
1 cup of spinach
2-3 frozen bananas
1 tblsp of Sprouts Blend
2 kiwis
1/2 cup of chopped frozen pineapple
1 avocado
the juice from 2 limes
For decoration:
2 tblsps granola
1 kiwi
1/2 fresh banana
Peel the kiwi and avocado. Remove the avocado seed.
Put all the ingredients in the high speed blender, and blend till smooth. You can decorate your bowl with granola, fresh bananas and kiwi
